Is there any way to change the color of my sclera?

I want it to be like bluish-grayish.

I don't want the whites of my eye to be white.

Is there any procedure or anything that I can do to get a blue sclera.

I've always wanted strange eyes.

any eye cosmetic procedures.

Money is not a problem

  1. Watching TV last week, I saw a program on tatooing wherein some guy was undergoing the exact procedure you desire. It's undoubtedly hard to find a qualified doctor that'll risk blinding you in order to cater to your cosmetic whims, but if you do, the procedure involves the infusion via needle/syringe of permanent ink dyes directly into the surface of the sclera.

Might as well finish it off with some ultraviolet inked-in stars or hearts, while you're at it.

And who am I to say you're wish is exceedingly silly and self-indulgent.

  2. The crazy ideas teens can come up with.

Take 5 minutes and think about how that could affect your future.

I don't think having monster eyes would make you the first choice of many employers when you get older.

  3. I assume you're a teen, in which case no doctor will sign on for this (and maybe one in a million might otherwise)- simply put, cutting, sticking needles into, or otherwise altering healthy tissue that regulates a very important sense is stupid.

If you want to change the colour of your sclera temporarily, get scleral contact lenses, which tuck underneath the eyelids and cover the entire sclera.

  4. No real way to do that. If you like yellow sclera though you can do it naturally by getting hepatitis.
