  1. NO!!!

    there are two types  of batteries;

    Primary -- non rechargable, a chemical action produces a voltage. If you attempt to recharge, the seals can break up from the pressure and ruin the powered device. Some primary cells such as LiPoly will break the seals abd burst into flame.... we call it "venting to flame".

    Secondary - these are rechargeable. The constuction of the cell allows the user to store electrons, discharge electrons, then recharge with more electrons.


  2. The manufacturers of disposable batteries and cells say that you shouldn't recharge them and give warnings of dire consequences if you try it.

    It is said that the chemical reaction which occurs while discharging can't be reversed.

    Nevertheless, there are claims that it can be done with some types.  

    A little time spent Googling might cough up something useful.
