Is there any way to check for spirits in my house??

So I went to sleep last night with my glasses on my desk that is next to my bed. When I woke up I couldn't find them, I finally found them wrapped in my comforter next to where I was sleeping. I KNOW i didn't move them. And my door was closed all night, and everyone in my family says they stayed out of my room. Then, my aunt says that her glasses were moved from the glasses case in her car (she only uses her glasses for driving at night) to the counter in the kitchen and she is the only one with keys to her car. Now, my mom's glasses are missing when she said she had them by her computer in he room.

I'm kind of scared, because this all happened within one day (yesterday). So is there any possible way to check for "spirits" in my house? My grandpa died less than a year ago, so could it possibly be him trying to contact us or something?
