Is there any way to compare Russian GRU and SAS or something like that?

I know only that GRU stole a newest American chopper from an airbase in Viet-Nam. They kicked Georgians out of Ossetia a few days ago. And they had anty-terrorist cooperation with Brits when the relations were better.
