  1. Sometimes, only sometimes, I could get back to the dram when I try to think really hard and want what I want it to imagine. I remember I tried so hard to open my eyes but it felt like it was glued shut. I don't believe so though, you can't really control your mind to sleep and dream about it, but I think it can be possible. When you think about it all day, you sometimes dream it later on. Even the littlest detail, it could even be in your dream, kinda like Deja vu.

  2. Technically no. You have no control over what you dream, with the technology that we have now. Though you can control what you are thinking about when you fall asleep which can more easily cause synapses in  your brain to fire and cause thoughts of the things that you were thinking of before you went to sleep.

Music is said to have the ability to curve dreams because your auditory sense is still in "receive" mode. But i don't really know about that kinda stuff.

  3. I don't think it's possible to control dreams but I think it is possible to wake up from them.

In my experience I've had to first realize I was dreaming and then force my physical body to open its eyes. Sometimes, though, as soon as I wake up I immediately want to fall asleep again and have to force myself awake for a few minutes to avoid slipping back into the dream.

Don't know if that helps at all but you can try it next time you have a bad nightmare.
