Question:

Is there any way to feel less nauseous when you're really out of shape?

So, soccer try-outs were yesterday. They're today too. I was wondering, since I'm totally out of shape, and we have to run A LOT, is there any way at all that I might feel less nauseous when I'm running? I had to stop in the middle of try-outs because I was literally just about to pass out... and throw up. I'm trying to run a lot before practice, but I'm still out of shape.

I'm not fat. I'm about 5'11" and I weight about 110 lbs.

But I'm /really/ out of shape.

Any way to make it not so bad? No feel-like-I'm-gonna-vomit? Or fainting?

Help me, please!

  1. i wish i knew the answer as i have been running for 6 months now and improved a lot but all of a sudden every time i increase my speed i just want to throw up even though i don't feel like I'm pushing myself that much, but its so annoying

  2. are you eating right before? I feel nausous when I eat within 2 hours of exersising. You have to let your food settle

  3. Eat plenty of protein and fiber 1-2 hours before running.

Since you're out of shape, you won't be able to run that much.

Pace yourself and try your hardest, but dont push your body too much.
