i have a kenwood kac 7201 amp.... now it has been workin fine lately, but the other day I was driving and i noticed that my subs werent working at all... so i just checked em out... EVERYTHING is hooked up right... the amp gets power (the onboard fan works) but the light doesnt turn on.......

i double checked everything and have found no problems, all i can think is that it overheated and fried itself.... idk how though, because it used to do that, but i moved it and hadnt had a problem since.....ANY IDEAS PLZ!!!

  1. If you are getting power and it is grounded properly, it is obviously internal in which case fried or not it probably means replacement time.  But if it happened before it could be a loose connection inside or out or could be a poor power source.
