I want to find out, as a kind of parental control, what channel was watched today? Is there any way of doing this? Isn't it freedom of information? As the records must be kept somewhere because they tell you how many people watched a particular program (i.e. 6 million watched big brother)

  1. To answer YOUR question, specifically, NO, there is no way! No one keeps records!!

  2. You could get a parental control if you hav Comcast.

  3. Viewing figures are taken from a poll off a few thousand people then scaled up, so the figures you get are big guesses. That's why they say 6 million rather than 6,371,422 etc.

No-one knows what you've watched unless your system allows tracking of it (as mentioned in previous answer) or you have access to some very high-tech kit that allows you to detect the usage from another room.

Depending on how modern your set-up is you might be able to lock certain channels you woudl prefer them not to see.

  4. you could go to the doctor to get your brain checked to see how well your memory is. so that way you can remember the channels you visit. other than that there is no way to know.
