Is there any way to fix a hole in a pool while it is still full?

I just noticed that there is a hole in the linning of the bottom of my pool. d from the ground is gradually coming in from the hole into the pool. Since it is already july and the pool wont be open much longer i want to try to fix the hole without wasting anytime draining it. thnx for the help! 10 points for best answer!

  1. Check with your local poll supply , they make a patch kit you can use... Good Luck.


  2. Most vynil repair kits allow you to make under water repairs. Just cut the patch much bigger that the hole, apply the glue on the patch. Then fold the patch, go in the water to where the hole is, unfold patch and place firmly over hole and apply preasure to squeeze out any air bubbles, then let set.

  3. to be honest with you im not sure you can fix it without draining it first, i dont think the glue would dry properly. looks like you going to have to drain, sorry

  4. You can buy a patch kit. Nobody can be without one.

  5. This worked very well underwater for me. made by Aqua Chem. Vinyl Repair Kit.It has the glue, one  5 7/8x12 inch, three 3x3 inch patches and one 1 oz tube of adhesive. It was purchased at Wal Mart.
