  1. No. You can't do it that way. You must used the original installation media. Installed software has been uncompressed and files are scattered in various places around the drive.

    Why not use one of these... Both are FREE.

    * You can spend a lot for MS Office or nothing for this suite with full-function word processor, spreadsheet, database, presentations, even an equations editor. 'OpenOffice' (OpenOffice.org)

    * AbiWord (www.abisource.com) is a free word processing program similar to MS Word. It is suitable for a wide variety of word processing tasks.
