Is there any way to get my site removed from Yahoo search results?

I'd like to keep the site a private community, and having it search-able on Google and Yahoo isn't the best way.

u want to remove ur search result : so u can do the next steps:

one right click on interent explorer then choose proprities then choose from above Content then click on Autocomplet then clear forms then ok & apply . good luck

Open http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com and see if that is an option there.

You can prevent their search-bots from indexing your site, but  the previous search results will probably remain on Yahoo / Google for quite some time.

Since both search engines have pretty well behaved search-bots (or spiders), they will adhere to instructions in the robot.txt file on your site.

Here is a couple of links that will help you set up your own robots.txt file (I am assuming that you are the webmaster, or that you have admin / ftp access to the website.)
