Is there any way to hide your IP address?

I'm downloading things from torrents occasionally and I was wondering if there was a way to hide my IP address, you know...I'd like some protection. Is there like a program or something that does that cos I have no idea. Thank you in advance!!

No, thank god could you imagine people putting any kind of c**p(they do already anyway) they want on the internet without anybody going after them. Ip's are for protection not against it. Every computer has it's own identity.

There is a minimal firewall called "Peer Guardian 2" that will hide your IP address and blocks all kinds of incoming connections.
