Is there any way to hook up a set of computer speakers to a boat female motor side socket?

The side socket is hooked up to a deep cycle battery. I was looking for a way to hook up ac current speakers to a dc power source.

  1. The quality of power coming from that socket is no good to the point that it could damage any hi-tech load connected to it. You need that battery to smooth it. Then you'll need and AC inverter to convert your 12V DC to 110V AC OR use speakers that are powered by 12 AC adapter anc connect them directly to your boat battery.
