Is there any way to know when my package will be here?

I recently ordered a bunch of [free] literature for an organization I'm involved with, and I'm very anxious to get it. (:

Can I call UPS or FedEx to see when it's gonna get here, and if I can possibly speed up the delivery? I'm leaving on a trip in 2 days and I'm supposed to bring all of the stuff with me. Thanks!!

  1. yes, they can track a package. your package should have been designated an i.d #. they will ask you for it when you call.

  2. Absolutely, you can call them. If you have the ID or order # for it, you may be able to track it online also. Most likely, when you call, they will give you an estimated arrival date...Usually the package comes within a day of the date that they give. :)

  3. I suggest you ring the organisation and find out if and when it was posted to you. alternatively ask them to send a PDF to your e-mail address, so you are sure to get it before you leave. Good Luck.

  4. Go to their website and track the package.

  5. whoever sent it should be able to give you a tracking number then you can go online to fed-ex or ups and track it, they'll usually give you a few hour window to expect it

  6. most companies that use UPS or FedEx to deliver things email you a confirmation number for your order and a tracking number for the delivery company they use so that you can tell when to expect your order or track it if it is late or lost.

I would contact the literature company first to see if they sent it by a trackable courier.  USPS often does not give tracking info, so if they sent your materials by the US Mail, you may just have to wait.

  7. It is going to depend on how the shipper shipped it (ground, overnight etc) You need to call who you ordered it from to get a tracking number and you can track it online.
