Non-international university tuition fees for the University of Toronto, like normal tuition, not international. I am a US citizen and that's causing me all the trouble! My dad has a work permit which is valid in Canada until August 31st of this year, so could we use that to get local tuition? It says on the U of T fees website (http://www.fees.utoronto.ca) that dependents of those with valid Canada work permits can get local tuition. Does this mean that I am eligible, as I am 17 and unmarried? Thank you in advance.
And when I pay fees for 2nd year, my dad won't be working in Canada anymore, so then I will have to pay full tuition, right? Is there any way to avoid this as we can save in excess of $10,000 by paying local tuition instead?
I want to make it 100% clear that I WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL to get local tuition, but if there is a way to legally do it, then why spend extra money when you don't have to?
Thanks in advance.
