Is there any way to make a Sand N Sun Easy Set Swimming pool into a salt water pool?

I have an easy set pool from Wal-Mart and I was wondering if there is any way that I could make it into a salt awter pool. My Bro-in-law said that I could but I'm not so sure...

Not sure why you would bother, but I suppose you could. The big problem would be filtration. are you setting this up for fish or because you want salt water? How long do you intend to have it set up? Adding salt is easy. Keeping it looking nice isn't.

Yes. Intex makes a stand alone salt generator for their above ground pools. It will work for this pool as well if your filter pump is rated at 700 gallons per hour or more. You just need to plumb it into the return line from your filter equipment and salt up the pool to the salinity required by the unit to work efficiently considering the volume of your pool.
