Is there any way to make history undeletable in internet explorer in windows vista?

you know how if you go to tools theres that "Delete History" tab? i want that to not be possible..

  1. Are you looking to catch someone doing something they shouldn't? I know of no way to make the history files permanent but I do have a solution. If you really want to see what someone is up to you could install a spy program on the computer. It logs sites, and keystrokes, messages, emails, downloads, if they sneezed, etc... I heard Spector Pro is pretty good. Although sorta expensive. You might be able to find cheaper ones.


  2. If you're trying to prevent another person that uses your computer from deleting the history, you can set it to where their user account cannot modify files, that way they shouldn't be able to erase the history.

    Other than that I don't know, I've used Opera for as long as I can remember.

  3. No.  If you can write to the history (to add to it) then you can overwrite it.

    Your best bet is to see if your router and/or cable modem can be setup to make a log of what traffic is going through it.
