Is there any way to make more audio/video jacks in the back of the tv?

I just recently bought a wii and I would like to hook it up to my tv...problem is that we have a giant stereo system that is taking up all of the audio/video jacks. I have tried to hook up the wii through our stereo system (because that how we hooked up our dvd player) BUT the audio doesn't sound right....except when we put it on the "phono" mode...but when that happens, the video disappears.

So I've been playing without sound... :( Which won't be fun when I start getting more games.

So, I would like to see if there is a sort of extender that I can put in the back of my tv...?? Anyone know of one that is cheap?

  1. What you need is called an "AV switch" (audio video switch).  You can plug two devices into the switch and then one cable out to your TV or stereo.  Then you use the switch to switch between them.  That way two devices share one input.

    Radio Shack has this one:
