Is there any way to make myself appear shorter?

I am auditioning for a role and need to look shorter. I have long legs and am 5'6". No smirk remarks. I am happy the way I am but I need to look shorter for a part any suggestions?

yh tottally just be yourself cuz if u get it you cant be on your knees for all the shows lol

where horizontial striped shirts and those balarina shoes you know the really really flat ones and maybe stand a bit farther away from the edge of the stage to help you out.

wear really flat shoes like flip flops or ballet flats. slightly bend ur knees.

if you want your legs to seem smaller wear something low rise.
