Yes, if the owner gave you the privilege to change the Group Settings.  If so, this is how to make the group messages accessible only to the members, including you and the owner:

Sign in to the group.

Click on Management located on left side of screen.

Under Group Settings, click on Messages.

Scroll down to Posting and Archives and click Edit.

Under Archive Options, select Members.

Click Save Changes.
