Is there any way to order frames for glasses online but have your eye doctor cut lenses to fit them ?

Because the frames offered at my eye doctor's office I don't really like and I found some good ones online and I would like to order them

  1. As long as it is of ophthalmic grade, then yes. Something I would have you consider. What if the frame you bought on-line breaks in 6 months. Can you get a replacement and does it have a warranty. If it does, do you have to return it in order to get another and be without your glasses while you wait for it? It can also be hard to determine the actual size that will fit your face unless you have tried on frames elsewhere and know what size you should be ordering. Shop around for styles. There is a lot to be offered locally and this way you can see the product first hand to be sure you like it and it will fit well. Plus you will be able to walk in freely to have adjustments made when needed.


  2. Yes, just order the frames you want (make sure they are the right size), and your optician can size the lenses to fit them.
