Is there any way to play music in my car without a radio/stereo?

my radio isnt working but i just put new speakers in and i want to be able to use them. So is there any way i can hook up anything else up to my speakers and play music from them somehow?

  1. the cheapest way is to replace the radio. anything else will cost you in the long run. contact some local car audio shops and ask about the deals they have. i'm in Detroit and i saw that Car Tunes had a AM/FM/CD player for $59 installed so i would look for one of those kind of deals. i see them in most places for $99 installed. stay away from the big chain stores because they usually rip you off go to a specialty shop


  2. You can hook up a home theater receiver to them and use a converter to convert the dc to ac and plug the receiver into the converter and do it that way.  Or, i'd wait until I could buy another head unit and I would slam a boom box in the car or an ipod and listen to music that way.

  3. Yeah a boom box and batteries!

  4. No! Fix the radio or replace it.

  5. Buy a 2 k**b car radio from Wal-Mart for $29.00
