its a PNY 2GB pen drive. i don't know much more than that. I know a simple solution would be to put a password on my PC but that , in my current situation, is not enough. any advice on how to protect the data on it would be appreciated [beyond " don't let anyone else get it"].

also i have to access the data on different PCs, so i cant use oftware that needs to be intalled on every PC you use the pen drive on

  1. An easy option would be to store everything on your pen drive inside a folder. Then simply password protect that folder. http://www.fspro.net/folder-lock-box/ should be able to help you to do this.
