Is there any way to retrieve files or pics after they have been deleted?

The computer or someone accidentally deleted a file with pics and I can't find them anywhere.

check your recycle bin. to get there, open up the My Documents folder. at the top, where it says my documents, there should be an arrow pointing down, click on it to see more options. one of them should be recycle bin. if that is empty too, then they are gone forever. emptying your recycle bin literally destroys the files... so good luck, i hope u still have the pics!

Or try googling other "deleted files recovery software", but this windows one is at a pretty good price.

Unless you're on Mac, which if you are, I am not familiar with their software options.

Good luck, I know how crappy it is to have lost files, especially if they were really important.

Even if you've deleted and emptied your recycle bin, your computer stores every file FOREVER.   Special software is necessary to access older deleted files.  There is also a way to access your keystrokes so that someone spying on you could potentially see what you've typed in an email.  And what images, websites and pages you've opened.

That is how law enforcement investigators access stuff from people like pedophiles who thought they had erased everything.  Nothing is private. Keep that in mind when you get rid of your current computer.

as long as you have not emptied your recycle bin you can retrieve your files and pics. so i recommend you look in your reycle bin. just click on it and it will show you all your delted files. good luck
