Is there any way to save your desktop Wallpapers that came with windows to my pictures?I have windows xp?

I would like to edit some of my wallpapers that came with windows, I was wondering if they could be saved to my pictures.If anybody knows how let me know.

  1. go to ur main drive usually c:...if ur main drive is c: then this is the path u should follow

    C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper and copy them to ur pictures, just right click on all of them, choose copy, then open up ur pictures folder, right click on an empty space inside of it and choose paste


  2. as per Lord_dia... , it can be done that way.

    alternatively, go to control panel, display, desktop, see the file name of the wallpaper & search it. Eg. I searched mine & it appear under the folder mentioned by Lord_dia - C:\WINDOWS\WEB\WALLPAPER.

    Go to that folder, right mouse click on the desired wallpaper, open it (mine open with microsoft picture manager which i can edit the picutre there.

    If you want to edit picutre with cut & paste picures into one or ..., you may cut / copy the picutre to paint & from there edit it / them.
