Is there any way to speed up the treatment of braces?

I've had mine on for about a year and all my teeth are straight, no gaps, i wear the rubber bands for the time they tell me to, my bite is good, i have the rubber chain thing on my top teeth but they never seem to give me an answer of when i will be able to get them off. i don't know what to do, does anyone know if there is any way to speed up the treatment?

The orthodontists might be ripping you off, but usually, the braces need to say on for a while even after the teeth are perfect. They hold your teeth in place, cause teeth have some sort of memory, if you move from their original spot and then let them go, they'll just move right back. You might need to keep your braces on for a few more months...

I would get whoever is paying for your braces to ask your orthodontist if the procedure is finished and if it is time for you to get them off. It might be that they are charging you for your braces when you don't need them anymore.
