Is there any way to stop or disable those annoying animated adverts on my yahoo home page?

I want to know too.

Even with broadband the load times for the main page are getting ridiculous - it even locks up sometimes trying to load the c**p.

I'm on a personal crusade to never do business with anyone that shoves an animated ad in my face.

if you use firefox internet browser there's a "no ad" add ont hat you can download which does away with most ads. It got rid of that annoying Gap add for me.
