Is there any way to take back a bid on ebay?

I bid on an item on ebay and I dont want the item any more. How can I erase my bid?

if i cant erase my bid can someone please outbid me? Its a nice PDA but I just recieved a blackberry as a present help!

You shouldn't really do this because a bid is a binding contract that you will pay if you win. But if you really have to theres a feature called bid retraction. You can search for it on ebay help and itll tell you how to retract your bid.
