My family and I recorded something on my mom's digital camera, and we want to put it on a tape, if we can.

  1. You would need to transfer the video to a VCR for recording.

Try this: Find the cords to your digital camera that will connect your camera directly to your TV. These are the audio/video plugs.

Connect one end to your camera, and the other to your VCR input, NOT your TV! Then have the VCR's output to the TV.

Put the TV on the right channel and VCR on the right input.

Press play on your digital camera to make sure the video and audio is working.

First begin recording from the VCR input and press play on the camera 2nd.

    :-)

  2. Yes, there is a way. You need a video card with audio/video(red and yellow) output. First, you need to transfer the video to your computer, then utilize the a/v output of the video card as the source for the transfer to the input jacks of your VCR.

Hello guys, she said digital camera!! If it's a digital camera, it will surely not come with a/v cables. Digital cameras include USB cords instead.

  3. well vhs tape is an antiquated way of doing it but here goes:

the digital camera (i assume its video) should have come with a weird looking lead. it should have a headphone jack (3.5mm) and a triple RCA plug set on the other end. the triple plug  are yellow, red and white.

plug the triple into back of VHS unit in the input section. yellow is video, white is audio left and red is audio right. if it doesn't have left and right audio inputs just put one in. it doesn't matter which.

plug the 3.5 jack into camera. the panel is usually hidden.

set your cam to AV OUT mode. it should also be in playback mode instead of cam mode.

press play on cam and you should have an image coming on the tv if you are running through the VCR.

press record in a NEW cassette and you should be in business. test it first before you play it back.

this same method to record on a DVD recorder as well if you want to do it via analogue means. digital is much easier as you just plug in your fire wire 4 pin to 4 pin lead and press record.

    hope ti helps!

  4. You might be able to.  Does the digital camera have a video output option?  Did it come with a video output cable?  If it did then you can easily do it.  Hook up the video output cable to the camera and the other end to a VCR.  Start recording on the VCR and then start the playback on the camera.  That should get the images from the camera to video tape.

  5. Buy a video tape recorder and record it from camera. very simple.
