Is there any way to test how much you need to drink before you get drunk?

Question

It depends on the the drink, but just the total percentage or something. Is the only way to find is by getting drunk?

Well it depends on your tolerance! If you rarely drink alcohol 2 beers is enough to get your fairly tipsy. If you drink fairly often however, it takes a lot more for you to feel it. For example, a few years ago I'd be drunk off bacardi breezers!! These days I can hold about 5 pints before I start feeling the effects!

If a bottle of spirits says 80 proof it means that it contains 40% alcohol. hopefully you're over 21 and are not driving

Geeeezus... Honestly... You just have to go with it... If it will be your first time, make sure that you are drunk with people that you trust ONLY and will take care of you.

it depends greatly on the person but its just a matter of finding your limits. in the early days trust me you will have experiences where you get WAY too drunk and regret it, but eventually you will find your happy point, and know how much you need to drink to get a little buzz, a heavy buzz, drunk, hammered, black out, and out of control s***-faced.

and as far as 18 beers killing you in one day... not true. ive had 36 beers in one day before, and im 190 pounds which isnt terribly much all things considered. so apparently i drank enough to kill me twice? no, those studies are always skewed to deter people from drinking too much, plus i wouldnt trust anything from f***ing spike...
