Is there any way to track a flight just based on a flight number and a departure city?

I just want to know what city that flight was headed to, and that all the information I have

  1. if you go onto the airport's website there is usually an arrivals / departure information guide that gives you info about flights coming to or leaving that airport.

    also if you know the flight number you should know the airline (ie EK407 = emirates, QF050 = Qantas, you can just look up the airline codes) and you can go onto the airline website and find out from there.

  2. Well, yes and no.

    You need to know what airline. But, depending on the departure city, you may be able to make a good guess. For flights out of MSP, for example, try NW. Flights out of DFW, try AA. Out of ATL, DL. Out of Denver, UA. And so on.
