Is there any way to track or deactivate a lost Blackberry 8310 (AT&T)?

I have just lost my bb8310. I am wondering if I can track it with the gps system or ask my provider (AT&T) to deactivate it? knowing that the guy who picked it up might already took out my sim card and put in his or her, is there any way? Is the PIN i have any useful?
