Is there any way to treat or diagnose Psychosis at home, without going to a doctor?

I'm curious. I've been reading up on the mental disorder Psychosis and I was wondering if someone was showing the symptoms, would there be any test or something (whether bought online or otherwise) that could be used to diagnose it? And is there anything that could treat the symptoms that would be available without getting a prescription?

Psychosis refers to the inability to see reality the way the rest of us do, to the point where it interferes with function.

It can easily be misdiagnosed or hidden from the examiner by marginally functioning patients. There is no easy home test. If the psychotic individual does not want to be diagnosed they can fake normal functions until the examiner is no longer around. If a neurotic individual wishes to be diagnosed as psychotic, that too can be faked.

With out medical back ground I highly doubt it , with out blood test, MRI's etc, even more so. You not going to know if its a chemical , physical imbalance, your just making guesses.

Granted Doctors guess but they have the equipment & the education to troubleshoot any type of abnormallies. Also its against the law to treat anyone with out a licence.
