Is there any way to understnd whethr my phone is being tapped or not or if there is a cross-connection or not?

Pass the reciever across the speaker of a computer while its on....a bug will cause interference to be heard on the speaker.

You can't detect if your line is tapped. Line tapping is not just connecting a wire like a parallel phone that you can detect it.
