Is there any way to volunteer for jury duty?

In NJ, the jury pool is chose from the DRIVER'S License registrations.  They found that people AVOIDED registering to vote and voting because they did not want to serve on jury duty.  But most people HAVE to drive, so they won't avoid getting a driver's license just to avoid jury duty.

As for volunteering, you can call your state's "information" office... or look at their official state website to start inquiring about what YOUR state's rules are.  (Hint:  Look up Attorney General)

All registered voters are eligible for jury appointments. It is a wait and watch procedure
