MLB allows viewers to tune in on line (for a fee of course) and watch your team live from the comfort of a laptop or desktop. Does the NFL offer anything like this?

  1. NO!

The NFL is a mess when it comes to airing games............

Currently they got into a spat with cable companies that did not provide the NFL network....thus several late season games were not televised........luckily our government strangely intervened and we all watched the Patriots thump the Giants for an 16-0 record....

I believe NFL.com offers online broadcasts of games.....

  2. The NFL has some very strict broadcasting rules.  While all other sports have moved into the internet age, the NFL seems to be stuck in the old ages.  We'll have to give it a few years.

Having said that, I did enjoy watching the Giants thump the Patriots in the Superbowl in HD - can't really do that over the internet yet.

  3. Try http://www.freefootballradio.com/

  4. As far as I know you can't watch it live. But you can watch NFL Replay on NFL.com which just shows the game slightly fast forwarded skipping small plays.

  5. The only way to stream games online is to be a DirecTV member.  They offer a supplement to NFL Sunday Ticket which is called SuperFan.  With SuperFan you can watch games via the Internet (among other features).
