  1. Have you seen the Bruce Brown move, "Barefoot Adventures"? from the 1960's?

In that they come up with a pair of shoes for just this purpose. They are made of foam and are about 3 feet long, 18 inches wide and 6 inches thick, like a giant pair of poly-styrene flip-flops - and they work!....(kind of)

  2. Well, you CAN walk on water, all you have to do is use material that is less dense than water (like balsa wood or plastic or the stuff they use in surfboards) that is hopefully flat enough with a large surface area to support your weight above the water... find a way to attach it and there you go.

You might want to wear your swim trunks/bathing suit and learn to balance.

  3. Yep - there is a device that looks something like snowshoes, only they are solid (sometimes they are inflated) instead of having a gut webbing on them. They are a little bit clumsy at first - just as snowshoes are a little bit clumsy - but they do allow you to literally walk on water.

There was a very funny TV clip a year or so ago showing a guy in top hat and tails walking across the water, bearing flowers and a ring for his girlfriend. It made quite an impression on her - and on the spectators!

  4. i watched a small segment on Mythbusters and they tried to walk on water. they failed. They tried using these discs and they sunk too fast to get anywhere forward.

  5. Yea it's called Wisconsin in the northwoods...during winter time...everyone here walks on water....NO you idiot no one can walk on water unless it's frozen and then that is called ice

    stupid question=stupid answer

  6. Yes, I watched something on the news that a high school physics class made something so they could but it really wasnt practical.  It was huge and it is faster to just swim.
