Is there any web page that if you have a phone number you can find out who it is?

got my phone bill, had a few numbers and 13 numbers that i don't know who they are, don't won't to ring to find out as bill will be high again i am in australia

  1. basing on your explanation here, how can you be billed for phone numbers that you haven't rang??? it is your phone bill, so it means you were the one who dialed it. you cannot be billed from the calls you received unless it is a collect call. but even if it is a collect call, you will be announced who is the caller from the telephone company before connecting the call to you. if you are the only one using that phone and being billed with those numbers which you did not dial, you can file a claim directly to your telephone company. searching it on the web is no help esp if the owner of that phone number is not listed as business or public. but if you are living with "someone", then i highly doubt that this "someone" may had used your phone to call those numbers. that's too simple to understand.

No there isnt - privacy laws and the such.  I was asked at work to try to track a phone number and I googled so many sites but no good.  Just cant do it.  You can only find someone if you have their name and possibly an address.  But not just a phone number.  Can you ring your provider and tell them your problem, see if they can tell you who the numbers belong to.
