that might be difficult since the easiest way is to have the name of the newspaper then search their archives

since you want to go so far back it may be difficult to find the name of local town papers

i would try picking out a few likely towns and see how far back you can research

researching facts is fun but it can be frustrating just keep that search engine going !!!
