Is there any wedding videographer around who can help me??

I am starting in the business right now.. and I would like to know if I am allowed to use some of the weddings I shot as sample on my website. ..or do I need †o get permission from the bride and the groom first??If so where do I get them???

  1. It would be best to have them sign a model release first.  


  2. Legally, you own the copyright to the photo.  Websites get a little fuzzy because it's samples, not really advertising or commercial use.  Or is it?  See the fuzziness?

    I don't do weddings, but in doing portraits and event work I have a contract that says I can use their images on my website.  I rotate through different pictures all the time.

    Search around on the web and get a model release form to have them sign. Just explain to them that you think they looked so great that you'd like to use a couple of pictures on your site.
