Question:

Is there any where I can get actually free ringtones for Sprint without needing web access?

I'm sick of all these websites that say they're free when they're not.

And when I actually find one that IS free, it requires web access to get them.

Needless to say I'm pretty frustrated.

Help?

  1. Myxer.com (used to be 3gupload, 3guppies, mixxer)... just upload your own mp3, cut it so that the part of the song you want is there... and then send it to your phone via text message. You won't be charged any fees from myxer for making the ringtone, BUT you will NEED web access to click on the link in the text msg when you get it so that you can download the ringtone. I have been using it for years and never got charged a dime!! I have about 30 in my phone lol

It says on the site: "Making your own ringtones and wallpapers is free. Whether you upload songs and images from the make page, or you use the fancy MyxerMagic™ web extensions, we don't charge you anything for rolling your own. Sending ringtones, wallpapers, and videos from our catalog is free (other than clearly-labeled premium content - see next note). "

It also reminds you that: "

Note: Depending on your mobile data plan, your carrier might charge you to receive text messages (or PIX messages) or for internet access. If you don’t know what plan you have, you should check with your carrier. " So, if you don't have a good web access plan, you need to talk to your cell phone carrier.

  2. If you can buy a USB cable for your phone you can do it that way here is a website were you can download the ringtone to your computer and upload it to your phone

    http://www.phonezoo.com

  3. What you can actually do is create your own ringtone and send it to yourself via text message. I do that.

  4. VENTONES

go to that site, just use their FREE online tools to create ringtones and they text you the ringtone.

    - upload an mp3 file

    - select the ringtone segment

    - create your ringtone

    - send it to your phone

its the only way to get FREE ringtones for sprint phones,

you can't transfer or load ringtones manually with Sprint phones. Most new phones from Sprint are blocked, they have crippled their phones and do not allow users to bluetooth, transfer or use their own mp3 files as ringtones.

Sorry to say it, but its the truth. Sprint wants to get their money on ringtones somehow, and if you're not buying them from their site directly, then you can still download them from a free site like Ventones,

but you need to pay Sprint for internet use on the handset
