Is there any where in PA that you can take your child to be evaluated for autism.?

our youngest son is in the process of being evaluated .they tell me he has early signs of PDD or possible Aspergers.....and i am not happy with is current doctors, just wondering if there is any where that is reputable in pa.

  1. School districts will most likely do it.  That's how I got tested.


  2. Call the State's Dept of Health; the public Early Intervention services' office.

  3. Yes at UPMC.  I went there because they have autism reserarch studies.  I am also going to the John Merck clinic.

  4. If he is 3 or nearing his third birthday you can also get a free evaluation by your school district.
