Feeling like who cares, not necessarily suicide, but like you want to spend your life alone and away from it.

  1. WELL DONE reaching out!

Sounds like you might be lonely. If so you may want some ideas for how to get away from being lonely: here are some ideas:

    1) People watching.

Try going to a place where kids are doing what you like to do. Or, if you don't know what you like to do, watch kids on the playground at an elementary school.  You are probably older than elementary school, but its there that kids are learning about themselves, and what they like, and how they want to be with their friends.

You could even go to a place like a public "square", or a coffee shop. Get coffee, or bring something you can pretend to be doing: music, and a book, drawing stuff, your pet.

    Regardless, watch the kids:

Watch the kid who just arrives: How does he/she enter the group. Watch what he/she is watching before entering the group, watch her/his facial expressions/how he/she holds her body/nervous?/excited/isolated?

Watch the kids who are focus on something by themselves

or the kid who watches or never joins: how could you help them/befriend them.

    2) If you cannot tolerate too many people: go to a bookstore. Look at the different books and magazines: see if anything captures your interest.

    3) You could take a class:

Do it to feel stronger/more confident, or to meet kids: (watch them first)

Rock climbing, art/dance/chess/ karate/weight lifting/skate boarding/hiking/ basketball / clay workshop/ there are even yoga classes for kids.

    4) If isolation is not your problem, then try and figure out what is.

Talk to a grown up you trust in a location thats safe: ie: not at a place where you are alone.

Parents, a teacher, a librarian, the bus driver, neighbour, school nurse (if you go to school).

Or, YOU try and figure out what you need.

Write a magical story about yourself, end up somewhere that has one or more of your favorite things.

    Read books about magical places.

    5) MOST OF ALL: do not do nothing. Go for a walk. Get coffee. Draw. Talk.

    6) If you can't do anything: get help from a professional: school nurse, school counselor , or a therapist ......dont keep this inside you, alone.

Life can be a wonderful place if you can "see" the beauty.  Grownups can help you see.

Here are some quotes by wise grownups who had to learn to "see" also:

"Turn your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you."

Basically: spend each moment trying to see beautiful things: nature/art/skill

    or

"Though bowed, you are not broken

    Though stretched, you are strong

Though your branches now weigh heavy, you roots go deep and true

This is just another change of season"

Basically: this poem says "it will pass"

    good luck

  2. I was feeling that way today, I felt that way many times, sometimes I feel like I just want to leave the city and just go into the woods and be there alone among nature forever, but, since nature is peaceful to me, in my case I was just missing my inner peace, I don't know about you but I'm sure there's something behind the way you are feeling

  3. School life is the best part of your life. Just ask a few senior people and I believe many will endorse it. The problem we see it as a task or a chore. Enjoy school life, try to go there regularly, make friends. Try making two friends every week from any grade. Take part in any activity you like examples - games, drama, gym etc. Enjoy life to the fullest when you have less responsibilities.

  4. Yes, I do know this feeling. I'm glad to know that I am not alone :) I am in college currently (my 3rd year, winter quarter) and I feel not depressed but just...I am just watching the days fly by, time fly by. I just want the day to end. I just want to quickly go back home where I can be alone and be safe and comforted. I am so unmotivated, despite the fact that I have a lot of homework, assignments, tests, and essays to complete. I hope that this is just a phase..

  5. There is a club for that. They call it: Everybody.

People get bored. They get mired down and withdrawn sometimes. Every now and then we all get a case of existential blues. It is perfectly fine to get away for a couple days and sulk a little. But don't over do it! Get back among the vital soon! You can pull out of that nose dive. It takes a little effort and persistence, but people do it all the time. Just refuse to wallow in it. If you don't like the people you know, go meet new people. If you don't like your studies, find a way to make them fresh. Go study something else, whatever it takes.

However; if you are thinking anything even near to suicide, don't wait for things to get better. Get help now. A little therapy, a little exercise, a little medication, or whatever works are available to you. It is miraculous what can bring you back to feeling down. Nothing will bring you back from dead. Don't risk it. Tell somebody right away.

  6. When it's persistent, it's called depression. I suffered from it in high school and felt just like that on a daily basis for a long time. At the very least, look into some self-help books on depression and positive thinking, like The Secret or Your Erroneous Zones. Ideally, you'd find yourself a counsellor.
