  1. The question in and of itself is kind of based off a false assumption. One, many schools do not require these tests. Two, most will only require one, not both. And three, a college will not focus all of its attention on one standardized test score.

    And as for a full scholarship, even if you got a 2400 on the SAT that doesn't guarantee you a full scholarship. I mean, I take AP classes, got a 2100 on my first try and am number one in my class, and I SERIOUSLY doubt there are many places I'd get a full scholarship.

    So, your best bet for a full scholarship is really a history of good test scores, along with extracurricular activity. If you do well on the SAT/ACT, hey, that's great. But it's not everything.

    P.S. The ACT is usually only required if you don't SEND the SAT, so the high SAT score would be the only thing they'd see anyway.
