Is there anybody homeschooled? If so when do you start school??

Home-educated? Yes, all my life.

Starting school? We don't; we neither start nor stop school for the simple reason that we don't do school.

We're unschoolers (natural learners) so have neither a school schedule nor any particular school times.

I'll probably start around the 15th of August. The public schools here are starting August 8th. I don't understand why they keep pushing the start date up to earlier dates. Last year they started aroud the 15th this year the 8th pretty soon they will be starting August first. Remember when school started after Labor Day? I wish they would go back to that!

I'm hmeschooled, from KeyStone in PA. but i live in MI. Im still going through school. It depends on what school or system you go through, alot will have breaks but in KeyStone you can go all year around. I love it

We don't take as summer break.  We do take vacations, but they are usually when school is in session.

I'm starting on August 18th, but I chose the two-week earlier option. My local school here starts on July 28th, which is waaay to early.

We go year-round and take a few-weeks' break at various times during the year.  Our last break was the middle of June to the middle of July, we started back up July 14.

We will probably start August 15.   Our public school starts Aug. 25.

I am thinking of starting my kids around August 25 but we are farmers so might work around harvest.

I do kind of a mix of eclectic homeschooling and unschooling. I am ALWAYS learning, so there is really no start or stop date for school for me. However, some of the more traditional things I do will get put on hold now and then for one reason or another. Right now we're waiting for my materials and curriculum for the new subjects I'll be exploring this year to arrive, so no definite date yet for when I'll start on those. I can say for sure though that I start my duel enrollment classes at a nearby university in the last week of August.
