Is there anybody out there who can explain the wording of the Lease of my flat, in simple English ?

I need to understand my Lease but find it so confusing with "party of the first part " and "lessors covenants" etc. Can anyone help ?

  1. the party of the first part is th land owne, or the person you rend from  .lessor is the person who try to rend the flat,or the person that geting the flat.

  5. it means they can do whatever the h**l they want with you and kick you out if these so choose ;)

  6. The fact is it is not a legal document until you are satisfied of its content. You are entitled to simple english explaining the content. However if you sign up to this contract it is too late. Contracts must not be misleading but you must not sign up to something you do not understand. Ask the landlord or agent to explain it to you. take it to a soilictor who will help for no fee, just to go thro it with you.
