Is there anybody who started formula to baby on first day of birth.?

Question

I am in dilemma for medical reasons my Doctor told me to take my own decision.

Is there anybody who gave formula to there child from first day and any health issues for child.

With my twins I used Enfamil because my body could not meet the demands of feeding twins.  I started out breast feeding and they both were not getting enough.  They are perfectly healthy twin boys now and my youngest two children were both breast fed.  Do what you feel is best :)

My son has been on formula from day one.We had to change from regular to soy,but he is doing just great!!No health problems at all.Still debating about the next child..

all my children except my first were bottle fed from day one due to medical reasons, there is no preassure to breast feed ifyou prefere not to its personal choice, i knew exactly how much they were feeding, where as the breast they can be latched on for hours and not always feeding, plus bottle gives other members of the family chance to feed

I breast fed my 1st baby from birth till 1 month when i got my milk due to surgery.....

with my 2nd baby i formula fed from birth till 12months she is perfectly healthy...

with baby 3 I formula fed from birth is is healthy...

with baby 4 I breastfed from birth till 1 month..then my milk just stopped...so I formula fed and she is 6 months..

my kids are all healthy kids....no problems..Infact they have not been sick hardly ever...just a few colds in the winter...

no ear infections like others say they get..or anything...

My son was fed from day 1. He was on Similac Advance and stayed on it till he was a big boy, and could eat big boy food. He is healthy as a horse and always has been.

I started my baby on formula from day one.  He started on Similac Advance and got a case of the stinky farts.  So, we switched him to Similac Isomil and he's been great.  He's never spit up a lot, he's healthy and happy.

I never breastfed. My son was on Enfamil Lipids for the entire first year of his life and he is 100% perfect! =)

My daughter had her a 1st bottle an hr os after she was born, she didnt drink much but as she got used to it she loved it, i used cow and gate and never changed and never had any issues at all with it and shes been fine.

all of my children were on formula from day one. All of them were off the charts big, healthy, and developmentally advanced.

I had trouble nursing so I called "La Leche League" and got a supplementer for my daughter. You fill a small bottle of formula and hook it to the nipple. My daughter got to feel like she was nursing, but was being fed formula. My oldest daughter got goats milk (easier for them to digest than cows milk) and my younger daughter got a hypoallergenic formula because she was dairy intolerant. Both daughters have grown up healthy and well. Try to give them the " on the breast time" ( so they can feel your skin and get that mom child bonding time) but  I didn't have any adverse effects for both my girls. Just make sure you find the right formula for them. Hypoallergenic is better in my opinion, because it is gentler in their digestion ( I would do it again even if another child wasn't allergic). They still have the same nutrition. The only thing they miss out on is the collostrum which helps build their immune systems stronger. You can make up for this with good nutrition after nursing.
