Is there anyone, involved in the AFL in any way, who is dumber than Christi Malthouse?

She messes everything up when she tries her utmost to be a boundary rider. She never gets anything right. The Saints vs Roos match the other day was prime example. She was trying to explain the interchange blunder committed by Saints player Luke Ball. She tried to explain it to viewers & co-commentators but she jabbered away in Double-Dutch, not making any sense. She confused everyone.

She later came back on air to rectify her errors --- after someone had explained it all to her. It's OK to involve females in the game but please get someone with knowledge....not just a name!!

Don't name me as being dumber. I'm not directly involved with the AFL.

I think Andrew Demetriou and Jeff Kennett as well... but then you have people like Sam Newman who is extremely dumb and who will be lucky to remain on television after his remark to Richo on the footy show last week!

I don't think Christie is the greatest reporter and it's obvious that she got the job off daddy's back, but she's ok and at least we are seeing a woman involved in footy somewhere, other than the kiosk or washing guernseys!

Not sure if he is dumber, but one of the guys that does it (and I cannot think of his name!!) is truly awful!! (Not as bad as Drew Banfield was though...)

Christi is ok, not as good as some other boundary riders and commentators though. She doesn't get on my nerves, but for some reason Sam Lane on Before the Game annoys me.

And Mark Jacko Jackson was a freakin genius!  Very limited football ability but he managed to turn himself into a millionaire many times over by simply being stupid!  Bit like Sam Newman though I guess.  OK - so I've shouted myself down.

If this is the only thing she's done wrong then we can't label her as brainless, because a number of football club officials have messed up as well!

However, I don't think she's in the right job, and probably wouldn't have been if her father had been Joe Bloggs of South Sydney.

Not because she's female - I am too and I support good female commentators - but because she really doesn't show the passion for the game that Sam Lane, for example, does, and especially a boundary rider needs, to bond immediately with players coming on or off the field.

I think the channel should grab and train that young girl from Eastern Melbourne who challenged the AFL to let her play under 14, and won. She is articulate and speedy. However, she probably wouldn't pass the boys' network criterion of flirty, size 10 and available
