I have recently moved into my new home & am getting slighty annoyed by the fact that we have lorries reversing down our narrow road at 5-6am every morning. It turns out there's a house at the bottom of the road who runs a bakery delivery service & he has bread delivered to him every weekday morning.

So everyday at around 5am, I am awoken by a large lorry reversing down our road beeping, telling me to 'stand back, vehicle reversing', etc & its a nuisance.

The road is so narrow its even scratched my window mirror which i'm not too pleased about.

Is there anyone I can complain to about it?

  1. you can complain to your home owners association, the city, or file a case in small claims for breach of peace.

  2. Your local council or the Environmental Protection Agency in your area. Where I live there are rules governing when 'noise pollution' can start and what time it must finish.

  3. Complain to the owner.

Then to the council if nothing is done if your neighbour is running a business from his house in a residential neighbourhood.
