Let's face it, Michigan didn't have there best season last year. They're probably not going to win it, but I'm rootin' for the Mountaineers.

I'm not excited about this game because LSU will win by 30+ points.  As you said, LSU isn't Michigan.  LSU is a properly coached football team with tremendous athletes at every position.  LSU will not be flummoxed by the spread or the speed that App State brings to the game.  App State will be playing in one of the most difficult environments in the world: a night game in Baton Rouge.

Look for App State to keep it close early but as the game stretches through the 3rd and 4th quarters LSUs depth will become apparent.  The Tigers will score at will in the 4th quarter.

I look for something like 45 - 10.

No excitement here, but LSU had better be on guard anyway. They're not Michigan, but they'd be wise not to make light of what happened in Ann Arbor last season.

So what are you saying, that App. State would absolutely dismantle Florida (and therefore 85% of the other SEC teams?). Well, I might just agree with you there!

LSU will beat App. State because they will not be underestimating them, which is the only reason they managed to squeak past Michigan (Michigan played that game like it was an August scrimmage until about the last 4 minutes).

I think LSU would have learned from Michigan's mistakes last year and wouldn't let the same thing happen to them.  LSU will beat them and I doubt it will be close.

I'm excited about it and I think it'll be a good game, but there is NO WAY we lose to App State in Death Valley.  That kinda stuff may happen in the "Big House", but not down here on the bayou.

Go ahead and hate on 'em if you wanna...but LSU ain't gonna be as bad as everyone thinks for all you haters out there.  All you non-SEC pukes out there not giving SEC credit for far too long...Put your best team in an SEC schedule week after week and see how they hold up...and Y O U!!!!
